Jon Salmons

Jon Salmons is an Associate Attorney at Weaver and Budd Law. He practices business and civil litigation, with a focus on construction litigation. Before coming to Weaver and Budd Law, Jon practiced construction litigation at small firm in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Jon has both state and federal court experience and enjoys being in the courtroom representing his client’s best interests.
Jon attended Wake Forest University School of law and graduated in 2018. While at Wake, Jon participated in several programs to hone his litigation skills. Jon represented indigent juveniles in delinquency proceedings, worked with the Forsyth County District Attorney’s office, where he sat second chair on a misdemeanor appeal jury trial, and externed with the Honorable Lucy Inman on the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Jon was also a member of the Wake Law’s Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law and Wake Forest University National Trial Team, which won the 2018 Texas Young Lawyers Association’s National Trial Competition. Before law school, he graduated from UNC Charlotte with honors where he majored in political science and German and earned a minor in international studies.
In his free time, Jon loves traveling and playing guitar, basketball, and golf.
